Buying a car can be very stressful. I prefer to negotiate over the phone and internet. Most details are worked out ahead of time with minimal surprises. Rick Lockett was very accommodating in this way. I was treated professionally as I would have expected. This is my first purchase from Temecula Hyundai but will not hesitate to purchase from here again.

By far the most pleasant experience at any dealership. Leo and Nestor respected our wishes and most importantly - time. After our initial contact, we were able to call back after about 30 days, explain what we wanted, and make an appointment to make the deal. During the day, they located the car, had the car brought to the dealership and make the deal. Absolutely no pressure. We made the deal, left the dealership to go shopping and return to sign the papers and take delivery within 45 minutes. Great job!!

We bought a car here, and have it serviced here. The buying experience was ok, but a bit long. I have to say the staff was pretty nice, but for whatever reason, the finance guy was tied up with other customers so it took forever.
They also forgot to double check all the mats were in the new car, and the next day we found out it was missing. They were good about it and got one for us. Service has so far been good. The service personnel have been helpful and nice.
It was a good experience. I love my car. I enjoyed the chocolate latte I had while I waited. One of the finance guys that helped me was a little sour but Brian reeled me in with a good offer. Jason was cool but he goes thru the money stuff a little fast. Leo was a solid car salesman.

I'm extremely pleased with David Alarcon. He's the one I spoke to when I first called the dealership and asked what the out-the-door price would be. He told me he would call back in 20 minutes and he did. He gave me a good price, and I said I would drive down from Lancaster to buy it. He put the car aside as sold so that it would not be sold to someone else while I was on my 2 - 3 hour drive down to pick it up. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. He also told me what the out-the-door price included so that there would be no surprises when I got there. I appreciated that too. Like I said, I'm very happy with my purchasing experience at Temecula Hyundai, and it was definitely worth the drive to go down there and buy it.

After a terrible experience at another Hyundai dealership, I decided to press on and work with one that was farther away but had the car I wanted at a better price than other dealers near me. Overall, I was very happy with the experience and leasing process and recommend to anyone looking to lease a new car. The only bummer was how long I had to wait but hey, that's dealerships for you. I believe I was there for approximately 2.5 hours (and that's with me negotiating and pulling credit beforehand). I went the online route and dealt with Anthony, who is an Internet Sales Manager, and am really glad that I did. For those of you who appreciate the more in-depth reviews...read on.
I hate dealerships, which isn't unique, but I will do anything in my power to avoid them. So when it came to leasing a new car, I negotiated everything before walking through the front door. I had already test-driven the Hyundai Ioniq at another dealership (which I've since reviewed) and figured out the exact trim/color I wanted. I went onto temeculahyundai.com and when the little chat box popped up (you know, the one we all ignore) I told the person what I wanted and they forwarded it to Temecula Hyundai. Within the hour I received a text from Anthony, the Internet Sales Manager, politely asking if we could communicate via text. Basically I was able to text him back and forth until we settled on a deal that worked for both parties. One of the big reasons I wanted to lease from them was because they offered the best deal on the car compared to all the other Hyundai dealerships around. His first offer for the car was way higher than I was ready to pay and I was initially put off by it. But instead of getting testy I sent him screenshots of the payments I had worked out on their site. They have a great tool where you can personalize your payments online. However, what I was finding through that tool and what he was saying didn't line up. Big surprise, right? Anyways, we went back and forth for maybe an hour until finally I was happy. The best part was that I was in the comfort of my own home and not being pressured or bullied at the dealership. Plus, Anthony isn't that type of sales guy. He pulled my credit to hold the car. Then we scheduled for me to come in, take a test drive and close the deal.
I arrived on a Sunday a little after noon and everyone I spoke with was kind and professional. The lobby was clean for the most part and there was a seating area (where I would spend the better part of a few hours) that had a couple flat screens with NFL games on. I asked for Anthony and within five minutes he came out and we took the Ioniq for a test drive then proceeded to do the initial paperwork. That only took maybe 10 minutes and I started to think I would be leaving with my new car really soon. Not! One thing I didn't anticipate was how long it would take for them to clean the car. To be fair, a lot of it was out of their hands. They supposedly spent over 40 minutes cleaning the car and there were several cars ahead of mine getting cleaned and only one guy doing it at first. Anthony was running to the back, trying to help clean it so I could get out of there. The other thing I waited a long time for was the finance guy. You know, the one at the end that makes you sign a bunch of stuff. Once I got in there it was super quick, maybe 15 minutes. But the people ahead of me took FOREVER.
My only negative was how long I had to wait to get my car. I went through the initial negotiating process and pulled credit ahead of time in order to save some time once I showed up but I still had to wait what felt like a few hours. But like I said, it was really out of their control and Anthony did everything he possibly could to expedite the process. But it was well worth the wait and am superbly happy about my decision. And I was ok with it for the most part because football was on and that's what I would have been doing anyways.
If you're looking to get a new car and live in San Diego, Riverside or Orange County I highly recommend that you give Temecula Hyundai a call and ask for Anthony. He'll take great care of you from start to finish and, trust me, it will be worth the drive.

Got my car serviced on a busy Friday afternoon. The service personnel did not communicate well—with me or with each other—and things seemed chaotic. I was not notified when my car was finished and then they could not find my keys. They need to get their act together.
2nd Tucson with this dealer and 3 Hyundai's overall with this internet sales manager. No problem with anything at this time, I will continue to come back to this dealer for my car needs.
